Welcome to Pipestem Place

Located half a mile from Pipestem State Park and 15 minutes from New River Gorge National Park, Pipestem Place is three meadow-like acres with beautiful trees and our two lovely cabins, available for a tranquil stay or a nearby adventure.

Privately located at the back of the property, the Whitetail is a two bedroom, two bathroom cabin reminiscent of simple country life. Swing or rock on the front porch, listen for songbirds, and watch for deer and other wildlife that often wander across the meadow. Grill on the back patio, or play horseshoes or bocce ball, or watch the stars from the outdoor firepit at night.

The Robin is a wonderful cozy ‘nest’. It is open concept. with a king bed on the main floor and a loft. bedroom with two twin beds up a spiral staircase. This romantic cabin. hosts an indoor jacuzzi hot tub. Turn down the liights, put on your favorite music, relax and create memorable moments. It has a great deck to watch the sunrise, grill or play games or enjoy a fire iin the large stone fireplace indoors or by the firepit outdoors.

White Water Rafting

There are several commercial wild water rafting companies offering various levels of rafting. Most of our West Virginia whitewater rafting trips are a full-day adventure of approximately 6-8 hours and include a specially-prepared riverside lunch and river equipment. No experience is necessary for any New River whitewater rafting trip. Professional guides are in each raft.
